Ben Romney and his beautiful wife visited the volunteers working at the Romney Campaign’s Pensacola, FL phone bank on Saturday, January 26th. The setting was a hotel conference room filled with volunteers from every walk of life, dialing and talking on cell phones to local registered republicans. Ben stated that two things contribute to a political win; number one, the candidate, and, number two, the campaign. First, Ben shared a few reasons why he thought the candidate was a winner, starting with the obvious, “Well he is my dad” and then telling us why he felt his dad would do a great job. Ben then talked about the second thing that contributes to a political win; the campaign. He pointed to the room full of cell phone wrangling volunteers and said, “That’s you.” It was obvious that his appreciation was genuine and sincere and he took time to speak to every single volunteer. I’m not shy, so I asked a special favor of Ben. He personally phoned my mother in Arizona and asked for her vote for his dad. My mom is still talking about it. On Monday, Jan 28th I’ll make a three hour drive to Panama City Florida to volunteer at the Rally and see Mitt again.

Just received a polling phone call and they were asking me questions against Mitt: "Mitt Romney was against the Bush tax cuts. Does this make you more or less likely to vote for Mitt Romney?" I asked who paid for this poll and the guy hung up.
