Rush is jeering at McCain this morning.--McCain was totally dishonest. He is taking McCain apart--contemptible. See updates to my earlier post.

He cites a great quote from Andy McCarthy, The Corner:
I'm starting to think Sen. McCain should not be allowed to mention the other candidates' names within 30 days before a primary. I mean, he levels an allegation about Romney that's just flat not true, and if some organization wanted to run an add calling him on it, they would be in violation of his "reform" of campaign finance regulations. What a racket!

Hate to say it but McCain's attack may be working. New poll shows McCain moving ahead in Rasmussen poll after the attacks. I sure Crist's endorsement helped also, but fact is that the Iraq/surge attacks is the main cause.

And I’m sure McCain likes his rise in the polls resulting from distortion and dishonesty, since he has no SHAME. Remember when Tim Russert asked him (in the last debate) about the quote that he (McCain) is not well versed in the economy, and he flatly denied that he ever said it? ...SHAME SHAME SHAME, Mr. McCain!

Giuliani tanking is actually where most of it is coming.

Newest PPP poll shows Romney's lead in FL increasing!!

GO MITT!

Any military person knows, including McCain, that there must "contingency plans" to any military engagement. Without question, the pentagon has a contingency plan for every conceivable possibility in Iraq. These plans would, of necessity, include timetables and benchmarks for withdrawal under every conceivable circumstance. The plans, of course, are considered "top secret" just as Romney indicated.
McCain knows all of this.... he is desperate.
