Kyle- I am an ardent Mitt fan but I am not sure you gave Brownback his due. He was also very optimistic and did not name anyone to his economic team because he favors a team rather than any one individual. I also thought his answer about the status of American families as one of our greatest economic threats was very correct. These are some of the finest men the GOP has running in many years. Mitt is the cream of the crop but I am impressed by most of his rivals for various reasons. I do think we have to be careful in looking for the negative in the opponents instead of lauding Romney's strengths and point our differences where they exist.
You're right. Brownback's "This country rocks" comment was sufficiently optimistic. Unfortunately, Brownback hadn't said it by the time I published that comment and have been in class ever since. To be sufficiently fair I'll post a full recap as soon as I can, giving each candidate his fair due.
