There are
lots of interesting articles talking about how Romney has been spending money to introduce himself to voters. This quote struck me:
"That loan also means that, for all intents and purposes, Romney has personally paid for every second of the $4.9 million in television ads his campaign has aired since he formally declared his candidacy in February."
The corollary to that statement is that, for all intents and purposes, Romney hasn't had to spend a dime of the money he has raised for the extensive advertising campaign he launched and maintained through two quarters of campaigning. He has been free to use the money he has raised on other areas of the campaign because he funded the television buy himself. That is a great position to be in as a candidate.
