Romney had a great day for endorsements today, and it's only 12pm!

Iowa

Romney added Past Iowa Christian Alliance Director of Outreach Joe Earle. Joe had this to say about Romney:
"Governor Romney has an impressive record on the issues that matter most to conservative Christian voters. Whether leading the fight for traditional marriage, implementing abstinence education programs or standing strong on Life, Governor Romney has shown the integrity and leadership necessary to move our nation forward."

This is not too much of surprise. Last I heard (through sources) Romney is the only top candidate Iowa Christian Alliance hasn't crossed off there list. They don't officially endorse candidates, although like any other not-for-profit they have other ways of supporting candidates, my guess is this could be one.

Florida

Romney's team in Florida only seems to be getting stronger. With the addition of Bruno A. Barreiro, the Chairman Of The Miami-Dade County Board Of Commissioners and Troy R. Samuels, the Vice-Mayor Of The City Of Miramar. Add these two to his incredibly strong team in Florida (which includes many of Jeb's closest advisers and a top notch financial team) the Florida train will prove to be a tough team when the ground game actually begins.

South Carolina

Wapo is reporting that Romney added a key staff member in South Carolina: Drew McKissick, Christian Coalitions National Secratary and Board Member. McKissick is also co-chairman of the South Carolina GOP's rules committee. Though he is as a paid staff member, McKissick also is endorsing Romney and views his endrsement of Romney and his paid job as two separate things:
"I started to go through this process a year ago," McKissick said of the endorsement. "It became obvious to me who was likely be the consensus conservative choice."

One thing to note, Iowa Christian Alliance is a break off group of the Christian Coalition, there is probably no connection between the Iowa endorsement and the South Carolina.

The Polls have Romney slowly making ground. Hes polling over 20% in several key states. His fundraising situation is top notch, especially with the addition of the new program for college students as first reported here. Now his ground game is coming to fruition with key Christian leaders and operatives in important states joining up with him.
