Mitt Romney for President My Man Mitt: Iowas's Great Senator Chuck Grassley: Is he leaning toward Romney?

Keith Steurer is amongst the intial "Iowans for Romney" and was also on Romney's "List of 50" charter members of his Commonwealth PAC's "Iowa Advisory Board". Many of us met Senator Chuck Grassley in Des Moines at the Iowa State GOP convention last June. He's an impressive man and a pillar of conservative strength in the US Senate.

Well, as a follow-up to that, Sen Grassley sent Keith the following note:

His letter was a great sign of how he stays in touch with Iowans, even though he is bouncing back and forth between DC and Iowa. Go Mitt, Go!!! Plus Mitt would then have to explain all about blood atonement, secret Mormon temple rooms, secret Mormon societies, secret Mormon ceremonies, secret handshakes, secret symbols and secret sacred underwear. Then there is the dirty little secret about Joseph Smith and his sexual preference for teenage and younger girls. This political kitchen will be way too hot for the Mittster. I think there was a previous president who himself had a very public "sexual preference for teenage" girls, rather than a tenious connection to a figure from over a century ago that some people accuse of being involved, to a debatable degree, with a girl who was the average age of marriage for that time. If I remember correctly, this President was re-elected, his supportive wife has done fairly well politcally, and it seems she may even be running against Mitt. Need I remind you of the murders and castrations carried out by Mormons in the past. And I wont even mention the Mountain Meadow Massacre where more than 200 innocent men, women, and children were brutally murdered by the good Mormons of Utah. The adults were shot in the head at close range and the childred had their sculls crushed in with the butts of Mormon rifles. Real nice people those Mormons. Really nice.
