According to
the Politico, Rep. Tom Feeney (R-FL), one of Governor Romney's chief supporters in the House, is "circulating a letter to House members on both sides of the aisle to pledge their support to uphold any veto President Bush issues on legislation that would raise taxes. The letter also encourages Bush to use his veto on any such measures."
Feeney has already garnered the support of 126 of his colleagues. His goal: 145, which is the number needed to uphold a veto.
This is the kind of fiscal leadership the Governor has supporting him. Rep. Feeney spoke in glowing terms when he introduced the Governor to his fellow RSC members last week.
